intends to demonstrate that the plant will be an improvement to the
site. We believe there
will be no detrimental effect on property values.
The Bayside Fuel Oil facility creates truck traffic, noise and
ground level air pollution. TGE’s
facility will not be a noise nuisance, will have an insignificant
effect on ground level air concentrators and will eliminate the
Bayside Fuel Oil facility traffic.
Moreover, TGE will clean up a contaminated site.
All major power plants in NYC are on the waterfront.,
Many, if not all, are surrounded by buildings with what appear
to be stable property values. |
