·
This
proposal will have deep effects on the community, and the community
deserves an adequate opportunity to register their complaints. We believe the October 11 date, which was chosen, failed to
meet that requirement because it is, one, an election day and two, the
anniversary of our tragedy. ·
It’s
disgusting that you filed your application two days after the World Trade
Center disaster. ·
This
meeting should not count as a community information meeting because it was
scheduled on election night with very poor notice. It has not fulfilled
the function of informing the community about the proposal. Holding this
event should not reduce the obligations of the developer to hold
additional community notification meetings. ·
NCMC
is not aware of a tentative meeting schedule with TransGas as stated in
the PSS. Community residents did not receive a TransGas mailing. · I would like to point out that it’s important to really reach out to the residents that are right around the proposed facility. The North side should be included in mailings in the future. · I expected more of your presentation and it’s a little disappointing. |
